Systems Engineer - Autonomous Technology - Cambridge

We are working with a leading technology company in Cambridge who have created a new role in their team for an experienced systems engineer to work on autonomous technologies.

This is the perfect role for a technical-minded engineer/scientist who has made the transition into systems engineering and who enjoys being the link between research and development and the customer.

In this role, you will be building strong relationships with customers and external stakeholders, by understanding their needs and using this information to plan and run highly-complex research projects. You will be involved in a wide-ranging variety ofautonomous/sensor-led technology, from autonomous warehousing to autonomous driving capabilities and drones that delivery medical supplies.

You will be able to take true ownership of your work, developing ideas from initial concept through to manufacture/deployment. You will also be given the responsibility to identify growth areas for the business and will be given all the tools you need tocreate and develop new connections and make a success of this technical role.

To be considered for this exciting role you will need the following;
- Experience with systems engineering, ideally on technology that utilises sensors and software for autonomous machines.
- The desire to represent a tech company in a commercial capacity as well as in a technical capacity.
- Strong engineering academics, from pen-and-paper maths skills to an in-depth understanding of physics.
