Sales Assistant

We have the exciting opportunity for a hard-working and passionate music lover to come and join us in the capacity of Sales Assistant in our newest Rough Trade store based in the heart of **Soho**. This role is part-time and is for 0 hours per week. In this role you would be joining the team of our newest store, based on the basement floor of Rag & Bone.

Working at Rough Trade is a unique opportunity to join one of the largest independent music retailers in the world, and to work in a vibrant and exciting retail environment where every day is truly different.

From the records that we sell to the events we put on in our stores, the best new music is at the heart of everything that we do.

You will be responsible for helping to run an iconic record store with like-minded people and will report to the General Manager. Your duties will include:

- Customer service
- Till operation
- Stock processing and replenishment
- Merchandising
- Supporting in store event set up

There may also be opportunity to work across other areas of the store, and other Rough Trade locations.
- Passionate about discovering and recommending exciting new music
- Fantastic customer service
- Attention to detail
- Previous experience working in a fast paced retail environment preferred
- Ability to multitask
- Fast learner
- Strong team player who is happy working across several different areas of the store

Additional availability across busy periods would be preferable.
