Warehouse Operative

**Job purpose**:
To assist with all warehouse activities including the responsibility of maintaining accurate stock levels

**Tasks;**
- Assist and be responsible for accurate order picking.
- To help and support all stock-taking activities and monitoring of stock
- Ensure that all relevant record-keeping is updated and maintained
- To accurately perform daily rack inspections, immediately reporting any damage
- To report any health and safety issues, including any unsafe behaviour in the work environment
- To load and off-load vehicles including performing the required checks on goods
- Issuing materials to production, ensuring full traceability is maintained
- Ensuring that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained
- To comply with company H & S policies and procedures, especially any forklift-related activity
- Electronic & manual recording of data as required by role, specific but not limited to Stock Management System

**Responsibilities**:

- Inclusion &/or attendance at meetings: Health & Safety / Everyday Standards / HACCP / BRC
- Auditing responsibilities: Internal / Customer site

**Essential;**
- Forklift license
- Previous warehouse experience
- Physically able to complete set tasks

**Desirable;**
- Computer literate
- Counterbalance / pallet truck use competent

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Midhurst: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
