**As an Automation Tester, your main responsibilities would be**:

- RUBY test automation
- Writing unit, integration, end-to-end and smoke tests
- Working effectively within a continuous delivery, continuous deployment environment using Jenkins
- Version control of the automation test suite in GitLab/GitHub
- Working and collaborating in a multidisciplinary, agile team

**You’ll have relevant experience and skills in**:
**Automated testing using tools such as**:

- Ruby - Watir/ Capybara (recent)
- JMeter
- Selenium
- Cucumber
- Cypress (not essential)

**Development tools such as**:

- Jenkins
- GitLab or GitHub
- Recent Ruby experience.
- Testing AWS cloud migration projects.
- AWS Cloud Migration/ Performance testing.
- Excellent core testing analysis/ assurance/ exploratory ability.
- Appreciation of White/ Black box Test Analysis Techniques.
- Desirable Skills: Public Sector/NHS experience, ISTQB Test Analyst Foundation.
- Other Key Skills: Postgres SQL, Cucumber, Jenkins, Gherkin language for BDD.

**Role includes, but not restricted to**:

- Maintenance of existing automation regression suite in Ruby.
- Incorporating new functionality into regression suite.
- Making necessary improvements so that the regression suite runs efficiently on the cloud.
- Supporting manual test activities where needed.
