Payroll Accountant required to assist the Financial Accountant in the preparation of the monthly payroll, monthly by person costs reporting and annual budgeting process.

**Main responsibilities & duties**
- Preparation of the monthly payroll submission (_predominantly for the Company's foreign subsidiaries entities but, on occasion, you may also be required to provide cover to the UK payroll_) and posting the resulting monthly payroll journals for multipleentities as appropriate.
- Calculate & post the monthly Bonus Provision journals and ensure sufficient Bonus provision is available.
- Reconciling all posted payroll costs to the nominal ledger and prepare the payroll monthly "By Person" payroll reconciliations and other associated month end payroll control reconciliations.
- Playing a leading role with compilation of the annual budget process in respect of all "people generated costs" and associated reporting.
- Ensure that all people related information is updated timeously and accurately in the Company's HR system (Sage People)

**Other responsibilities & duties**
- Time & Attendance reporting
- Monthly & Annual P46/P11d reporting as appropriate
- Pensions' administration, reconciliation & payment preparation
- Assist with the administration of the Company's car fleet including acquisition and disposal of Company provided vehicles
- HR interface as appropriate
- Preparation of new starter/leaver documentation & processes
- Maintenance and assisting with providing developmental support of Sage People HR system
- Key liaison point in the annual audit process ensuring all supporting schedules and evidence are completed and submitted
- Maintenance of internal/external databases

**Key skills, qualifications and experience**
- Knowledge of Sage People, SAP Business By Design (ByD) & BPC10.1
- Well-developed Excel, Word & other MS Office suite products.
- Methodical, numerate and accurate with a high attention to detail and outputs to be presented to a high standard.
- Ability to resolve problems under own initiative.
