Senior Transport Planner

Due to our continued success, we have our sights set on significant growth and with this comes the opportunity to recruit a Senior Transport Planner to join our team.

**Who we need?**

This is a varied role in a fast-growing business, with the primary purpose to coordinate and manage the daily schedules of drivers and vehicles to ensure that the department runs in a logical and efficient manner with the main objective of this role is being that our customers receive a first-class service whilst maintaining cost effectiveness.

**What you’ll do**
- To contribute to all aspects of day-to-day operations, ensuring scheduled work is executed in a safe and timely manner.
- Driver management, including briefing and debriefing, ETAs.
- A flexible and supportive approach to responsibilities, including a willingness to cover and help with ad hoc duties as and when required including OOH.
- You will communicate and manage drivers to ensure each client project is completed to the highest standard.
- Route planning to endure efficiencies in fuel and time.
- Analyse best routes to insure cost effectiveness.
- Team collaboration to optimize operations.
- Performing daily function in line with SLA’s and ensuring all projects are delivered pas er client’s deadlines & requirements and any issues reported proactively.
- Accuracy and knowledge of customer accounts nuance to ensure the controls team members respond correctly to incoming requests.

**What we’re looking for**
- Previous Customer Service experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritise own workload.
- Excellent communicator both verbal and written with good attention to detail.
- KPI Driven and analytical approach
- Good IT skills
- Empathetic and genuine passion for customer service
- Plant/ construction experience desirable but not essential.
