We are currently working with a fantastic authority that is looking for a Business Analyst

This role is working in a busy Transformation team to streamline processes and systems across Childrens Transport (including home-to-school and social care transport).

Individual tasks/responsibilities:
Meet with different service teams to capture and record activities, review and expand existing process maps and prioritise logged issues.

Work with all parties to streamline processes and negotiate systems-based solutions to improve workflows, resolve issues and improve customer experience.

Work alongside a system upgrade (Routewise), suggesting configuration and data enhancements within time and budget constraints

Review data sets, processing that data and conducting capacity demand analysis.

Support the upgrade team with process and data workshops and testing, revising 'to be’ process maps and production of 'how to’ documentation as required.

Essential skills:
Local Authority sector experience, IT systems experience

Strong team player who can cope within a very busy, fast-paced environment (ability to work under pressure to tight project deadlines)

Someone who is happy to roll their sleeves up and get the job done.

Desirable skills:
Someone who is good with excel data set interrogation

Strong process mapping and redesign skills.

Demand/capacity modelling experience

Experience with Schools Transport services, and/or the Trapeze "Routewise" system.
