This is to say we deliver heavy and fragile furniture items to customers houses, place the items as per the customer's request, unpack the items, set them up and remove the packaging. This ‘VIP’ delivery service is popular and sets us apart from our competitors. We offer a great customer experience and reduce the damage and returns rate for the retailers and wholesalers we work for. We deliver across the UK and are known for our friendly, helpful and polite service. At B Star our team members care about each and every job we do.

If you'd like to join us, we'd expect you to always:

- Work well as part of a team
- Be polite, friendly and helpful
- Follow Scheduled routes, driving safely and responsibly driving within the speed limit
- Be presentable and wear the company uniform
- Carry out safety checks on your vehicle before you leave the depot making sure its clean & tidy
- Be flexible with working hours.

**You need to**:

- **Have a clean driving license**:

- **Have experience driving 3.5T Vans**:

- **Have no objection to a Disclosure check**:

- **Be Physically fit due to the requirement of lifting and handling goods**:

- **Be Willing to work an average of 12-13 hours per day. (40 hours Guaranteed)**

B Star is a fast growing company where standards matter. If you enjoy working with the general public in a job where no 2 days are the same and you don’t mind heavy lifting and hard work you will enjoy working here.

**Because of the nature of our work and the longer hours we operate a 4 day working week for drivers with shifted days being agreed before commencement of employment.**

**Holiday accrual is still earnt on a 5 day a week basis.**

**Overtime is available on non shifted days.**

**Wages are paid every 4 weeks. If currently on weekly pay advances can be made available.**

**Monthly Performance Bonus £160 - £240 available after successful probation period.**

**Rates of pay will increase in April 2024.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
