Like its sister print publication, The Week’s website publishes a smart and eclectic range of briefings, digests, discussions and reviews which are distilled from a wide variety of sources. Our regular readers look to us for analysis, context and commentary, as well as an open-minded digest of reporting from across the political spectrum.

**What you’ll be doing**

The Week is looking for a Photo Editor and Illustrator to work on its UK and US websites, sourcing pictures from image libraries and creating original photo-montages and illustrations to bring its journalism to life.

**Experience that will put you ahead of the curve**
- Create photo-montages and illustrations to illustrate selected features, in line with the website’s established aesthetic approach
- Experience working as a photo editor for a fast-paced news publication.
- Excellent picture research and image-editing skills.
- A talent for coming up with creative illustration ideas for a wide range of stories, many of which will be about politics, business and world news.
- A broad interest in and good general knowledge of current affairs and culture.
