Our client, a leading Engineering Company based in Belfast are looking for 5 x Pipe Fitters to join their short-term contract.

The Contract:

- £14.00 per hour
- Temporary contract -4 weeks minimum could be extended
- Working for a World renowned company
- Minimum of 40 hour working week - possible 12 hour shifts
- Weekend work involved.

- Operate Equipment & Tools e.g. drills
- Install Machines & Systems e.g. eng room and deck equipment
- Set to work Machines & Systems e.g. eng room and deck equipment
- Repair & Overhaul Machinery & Systems
- Flush & Pressure Test Systems
- Align Pumps, Valves & Shaft
- Install Taper Shafts & Keyways
- Install Fitted Bolts
- Install & Re-assemble Main Engines and Jet Bowls
- Install & Re-align Propeller & Shafting
- Operate Measuring Devices (Micrometers)
- Operate Measuring Devices (Depth Gauges)
- Operate Measuring Devices (Vernier Dial)
- Operate Measuring Devices (Callipers)
- Operate Bolt Torquing Equipment
- Jointing & Bolting up Manholes and Flanges
- Operate Permit to Work System
- Maintain Basic Tools
- Operate Burning, Grinding & Drilling Equipment
- Operate Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (M.E.W.P.)
- Operate 135’ M.E.W.P. (ST)
- Operate 125’ M.E.W.P. (AT)
- Operate Fork Lift Truck
- Operate Scissor Lift
- Follow Pipe manufacture and installation procedures
- Instal and test pipe instantiation
- Clip pipe and torque tighten

**Essential**:

- **Time served apprenticeship**:

- **Be competent in use of hand tools to cut, bend, burn, level, clean, prepare and form various pipework including carbon steel, stainless steel, cunifer and cast iron**:

- **Be able to measure up, read drawings and plan pipe routes from pipe sizes - 15mm to 700 mm diameter**:

- **Comfortable working at heights and confined spaces**:

- **Driving License and Certs for Forklift, Scissor lift, cherry lift etc**:

- **Basic welding skills for tacking up etc**

**Desirable**:

- **Marine industry experience**

**Key Interpersonal/Behavioral Skills**:

- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure with mínimal supervision and to tight deadlines
- Build good working relationships
