A vacancy has arisen for a dedicated and motivated Senior Fire Safety Trainer at Cambridge University Hospitals.

This role will support the Head of Fire Safety in determining a blended approach to organisational fire risk management training, which is engaging, current and compliant.

The post holder will devise an inclusive (bank/agency staff, contractors, volunteers etc.) training programme that will include an annual evacuation programme in support of a competency based approach, that will satisfy the statutory requirements.

The post holder will be based at Cambridge University Hospitals, Addenbrookes site, however will also be required to work at other Trust sites & community sites as required. He/she will be responsible for undertaking a program of effective, blended and engaging fire safety training, which will be continually reviewed and developed, in order to deliver the programme, and educate the workforce.

On occasion, deputise for Trust Fire Safety Advisors, and ensure compliance with Firecode and fire safety legislation.
