**SALES ESTIMATOR**

**Company Background**

Lynx Precast Ltd is a successful, privately owned manufacturing business established 10 years ago. It manufactures precast concrete flooring products and structural precast elements for the UK construction and house building industry. Due to continued growth in sales and diversification into new products we are looking to recruit a Sales Estimator to assist our experienced Sales team at our sales offices near Ashington, Northumberland.

**Role & Responsibilities**

Full training will be offered to ensure the applicant is comfortable within their new role. They will be monitored and assisted by a member of the team to ensure the work they produce is of a suitable standard before sending on to our customers.

Production, Contracts and Accounts teams to ensure the Customers project can be designed and completed to the highest of quality and on time. Main elements of the role will include:
▪ Preparing and submitting quotations to our customers.
▪ Preparation of detailed designs for confirmed small, medium and large orders.
▪ Working with the sales, production, design and contracts teams.
▪ Liaising with clients as part of the design and sales process.
▪ Placing orders with our suppliers in relation to the clients’ requirements.

▪ Motivated and organized, being a confident and clear communicator.
▪ A team player, with a 'can do' approach.
▪ Accuracy and attention to detail is essential. Ensuring sales quotations are accurately prepared and returned within required timelines.
▪ Confident with IT and proficient in the use of Microsoft office.
▪ Ability to deal with multiple projects on a daily basis.
▪ Experience in construction/estimating very beneficial.

▪ Preferably studying at degree level or fully qualified to degree level.

**Package & Benefits**:
This is a full time, permanent position working 40 hours Monday to Thursday 8AM-5PM to Friday
8AM-3PM.
Salary is paid monthly and to be agreed, dependent upon experience.
Auto enrolment to NEST Pension Scheme.

**Salary**: £negotiable plus access to profit share bonus scheme.

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
