Cafe Cook

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Chef/ Cookwith a can-do attitude to work in our kitchen along with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, in our popular Cafe Within Van Hage Great Amwell Garden Centre.

We would love you to have previous experience in a similar role, with good knowledge of food and kitchen procedures with the ability to be able to manage the back-of-house team. The successful Chef must be self-motivated, quality-driven and keen to learn and develop.

Salary will be dependent on experience, but you can expect your role to be varied and rewarding. There are great opportunities to develop and progress your career within the Blue Diamond Group. In addition, there is a generous staff discount and paid holiday.

- To deliver a consistent quality of a high standard for the restaurant.
- To provide our customers with exceptional customer service.
- Providing a safe, secure and appealing food and beverage environment by adhering to the companies Health & Safety policies

The successful Chef will:

- Be able to work unsupervised and work well within a team
- Have a good eye for detail
