**NOCN Group are recruiting for someone to undertake external quality assurance activities alongside giving advice, guidance, and support to regional centres delivering all CPCS products.**

**Please note that we are looking for someone who can cover the South East of England.**

**What will you be doing?**

As an External Quality Assurer, your duties and responsibilities will be (but not limited to):

- The EQA will be expected to support colleagues in other quality assurance sectors as necessary.
- To engage with customers to promote self-awareness of quality assurance principles and practice as defined by NOCN Group quality assurance strategy for CPCS.
- To promote and share good practice in the delivery of testing, assessments, and training in accordance with CPCS scheme requirements, whilst ensuring a standardised approach across all sectors ensuring our customers are treated fairly.
- Following relevant work instructions for the delivery of specific aspects of the strategy, such as KPIs which are primarily aimed at ensuring.
- Taking appropriate action when issues are identified with centres, testers, and trainers; where CPCS approval or registration requirements are not met, including test and assessment delivery, or training that does not comply with published criteria, and to issue action plans and recommend sanctions in accordance with the CPCS Approved Code of Delivery and other appropriate quality assurance material.
- Supporting the development of centres, testers, and trainers by delivering standard setting events relating to compliance requirements for CPCS.

**About you...**
- Have right to work in the UK full time for a minimum of 2 years (NOCN Group does not offer visa sponsorship).
- Educated to GCSE standard A-C in at least Maths and English.
- Level 3 qualification (construction).
- Experience within the construction industry.
- Experience in internal quality assurance processes.

Other non-essential, but desirable, criteria:

- D32, D33 (A1) assessor qualification.
- D34 (V1) or Level 4 in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessments.
- D35 (V2) EV or Level 4 in the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices.
- Experience working in a quality assurance role.
- Experience of competence-based qualifications.
- Experience within the construction plant sector.
- Experience in assessment competence-based qualifications.
