**ORTUS RECRUITMENT** are seeking an experienced and dedicated **Early Years Educator** to join the EYFS team at a lovely, mainstream Primary School. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previously worked in private nurseries or within a primary school setting, as well as individuals who are CACHE level 3 qualified.

You will be responsible for providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for development to thrive and children to learn, play and grow. You will lead phonics and reading interventions in small groups to raise attainment, liaise with parents/carers, manage behaviour in the classroom, supervise playtime and organise the classroom.
- **EYFS CLASSROOM ASSISTANT EXPECTATIONS**:_
- Prior experience working in a setting with children under the age of 5
- Ability to build positive rapports with staff members and children
- Can commit to working on a long-term and full-time basis (Mon - Fri, 8am - 3:30pm)
- Passion for supporting children of all backgrounds and abilities including SEN children
- Adept knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Ability to lead interventions e.g. phonics and reading
- Ability to implement effective behaviour management
