Four Squared Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a Bridgnorth based organisation, recruiting for an Assistant Credit Controller, on a full time, permanent basis.

**Position Summary**

Assistant Credit Controller to work within the finance department, to proactively maintain the sales ledger alongside the team. Be hands on and driven to succeed while implementing a highly effective customer service style. Assist in providing a professionaland timely credit control service whilst safeguarding payments due to the business.

Main duties and responsibilities
- Have good knowledge and understanding of credit control roles
- Experience of working to productivity KPI’s for credit controllers
- A strong customer service focus and the ability to build effective working relationships within the credit control team, other employees, partners and external clients
- To perform all credit control duties as instructed
- Knowledge of credit control processes including legal action online, or via legal firms and with overseas debt collection procedures
- Able to work effectively in a team environment and to process deadlines
- High attention to detail and an orderly approach to credit control and fee ledger maintenance work
- Sound working knowledge of MS Windows-based software packages, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, electronic mail, and the internet

Experience

Essential:

- Experience of working within a Finance Department
- Experience of dealing with customer queries

Desirable:

- Experience of credit control within Finance Department

Essential:

- PC Literate
- 5 GCSE’s or equivalent in Maths & English

Desirable:

- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
