**Warehouse Operative - Day shift**

**Duties of Warehouse Operative**:

- Picking and Packing customer orders ready for dispatch
- Loading and Unloading vehicles
- Stock replenishment
- Manual handling of stock (heavy lifting will be required with this role)
- Ensure that stock is suitably rotated.
- General housekeeping of the Warehouse
- Ensure compliance to the Company and legislative Health & Safety standards.
- Ensuring accuracy of all incoming orders, chasing suppliers if there is an issue
- Printing and labelling of incoming goods
- Placing goods into the warehouse stores in the correct locations as per set locations
- Correcting and or amending locations if they are not accurate or have changed
- Booking goods into stock and checking paperwork
- Organising a running stock control of goods to ensure accuracy of stock.
- Assisting with stock take and daily PI to ensure general accuracy of stock figures
- Checking for incoming or future orders.
- To be the first line of contact with the courier and logistics companies to arrange shipments, report issues, request PODs etc.
- Previous experience in a Warehouse or Production environment
- Excellent IT skills and knowledge of using WMS (Essential)
- Physically fit and active as there is some heavy lifting involved
- Good Numeracy and Literacy skills
- Ability to work alone and as part of a small team.
- Valid FLT licence, with experience operating (advantageous).
- Ability to work in cold store environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £23,000.00 per year

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
