**Your New Role**

Sedgwick Resource Solutions are hiring for an internal team on the hunt for both a technical desktop liability handler and a senior desktop liability handler. The roles will involve managing a portfolio of desktop-based liability claims where you will be responsible for the lifecycle of the claim.

Focusing on legal liability and civil claims, you will be skilled in all aspects of liability claims management including investigations, negotiating settlements, quantum and most importantly, servicing our customer's needs

You will carry employer's liability, public liability, and fraud identification knowledge which we will build upon to expand your skillset past the norms. Additionally, you will answer correspondence, deal with incoming calls, issue client updates and maintain diary processes.

The senior desktop liability handler will also act as a point of escalation within the department, and carry extra responsibility within the team.

**Your Skills and Experience**
- Experience in handling employer's liability & public liability claims from cradle to grave.
- Experience of interfacing with corporate clients is desirable.
- Able to influence attitudes and opinions of others and gain agreement to proposals, plans and ideas.
- Good understanding of contract, statute, and tort law.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, including dispersal of information relevant to ongoing modifications to client requirements.
- A keen analytical mindset, quickly identifying fraud and business risks, alongside the ability to investigate, negotiate and settle claims effectively.
