**Nursery Practitioner Role**

**The School Setting**

You will be working in a **Primary Setting** as a **Nursery Assistant**. This is an exceptional Primary School in the heart of Surrey. They pride themselves as being warm, welcoming and community school. The school are fortunateto have a bespoke nursery with its own playground. The Nursery team are a supportive team who are committed to providing quality care for their students, going above and beyond.

This role is ideal for a nursery assistant who is passionate about cultivating a rich and stimulating environment that develops the early learner.

**Nursery Practitioner Role
- Job Responsibilities**
- Contribute and participate to a stimulating environment developing positive relationships that foster a sense of belonging
- Be able to engage learners and supporting their needs; help learners stay on task during the lesson or activity and support the learner's ability to take risks and actively explore
- Support the social and emotional development of pupils, reporting any issues when required
- Ensuring the child is supervised on a constant basis during school hours
- Contribute to monitoring and observations, providing feed back to the class teacher and other professionals

**Experience, Training & Qualifications**
- Good understanding of EYFS curriculum
- First aid training
- Previous experience working in a UK school or Nursery
- Holds CACHE or **NVQ Level 2 or 3** or a degree in Childcare/Early Childcare
