The Villa, Levens a 4 Star, 2 AA Rosette 22 bedroom hotel with 2 function rooms one of which can accommodate up to 250 guests and 2 restaurants are recruiting an outgoing, articulate Banqueting Chef for our busy function department.
**Job description**
- Controlling and directing the food preparation process.
- Approving and polishing dishes before they reach the customer.
- Managing and working with other chefs at all levels.
**You’ll need**
- Knowledge of food production methods.
- Strong leadership skills.
- To be thorough and pay attention to detail.
- The ability to monitor your own performance and that of your colleagues.
- To accept constructive criticism and work well under pressure.
- Good time management skills.
- Fully competent in all EHO compliance in order to maintain a 5-star food
hygiene rating.
- Experience at Banqueting Chef Level and have the necessary
qualifications and certifications required to carry out this role.
Full time permanent position, salary negotiable dependent upon experience.
