**About us**

We are a small business seeking to maintain and continue to achieve a high standard at the Hob Green Estate in the grounds and gardens surrounding our rental and holiday let properties. The gardens are a mixture of lawns, with Theatre Garden, and orchard walk as well as formal garden areas, and a kitchen garden where vegetables and flowers are grown. In addition, there is extensive hedging, mature shrubs, and trees leading to countryside walks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Grass cutting function
- General equipment maintenance
- General garden maintenance function
- Power Washing function
- Liaising with the gardener on work plans and future work requirements.
- Maintain records as required
- Leading on some projects as required
- Ensure high standards of workmanship in line with industry best practice
- Ensure a safe working environment for team members and guests.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties that may be required by the gardener and directors.

**About You**
- A passion for gardening.
- Good attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with other team members and guests.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly motivated with a 'can do attitude'.
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar role.
- Experience and ideally competency certificates with machinery such as hand mowers and ride-on mowers would be an advantage.
- Full, clean driving license essential.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
