Based, just a short walk from Audley End Railway Station on the Bearwalden Business Park, CRS Technics is a small, ambitious engineering business with a team of forty team members.
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Progress Chaser to support our sales team at CRS Technics Limited in Saffron Walden.
We are seeking an individual with previous experience as a Progress Chaser in the Avionics Industry.
The purpose of the role is to regularly liaise with our Airline Partners to manage, track and progress the maintenance and repair of their airline components from arrival at our facility to their safe return. You will be responsible for regularly reviewing works progress on the workshop floor, working closely with the Engineers, Workshop Manager, Planning, Logistics and Quality to ensure service and delivery doesn’t fall behind and deadlines are met.
You will handle every aspect of managing the administration and customer service processes required to deliver end to end service to some of the biggest airline companies in the world.
This key role requires excellent communication and administrative skills as well as the need to be highly organised, have superb attention to detail and the ability to meet and exceed tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, (including Excel), is also essential.
**Responsibilities**:
- Regular liaison with our Aviation Partners to manage, track and progress the maintenance and repair of airline components
- Flag up any supply issues such as shortages or delays and liaise internally with the Purchasing, Planning and Engineering Team Leaders to progress works to agreed deadlines
- Accurately input information into our inhouse database systems (Aerotrack)
- Identify and implement processes to improve quality of service and productivity
- Handle any customer service issues and complete general administrative duties
The successful applicant must be able to work Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 4.30pm.
