**Position Title**: HGV Driver / General Labourer

**Location**: Paneltex, Hull, Somerden Road

**Hours of work**: 40 hours per week - Mon-Thur 0800-1700 / Fri 0800-2.30 (negotiable)

**Salary**: Up to £12.50 per hour

**Other Benefits**: Equivalent of 32 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), Contributory pension scheme & Life Assurance cover.

**Job Overview**

The scope of the role is to assist the manufacturing teams to meet business requirements. Ensuring the workplace is adequately safe and tidy, in line with company health and safety practices. Managing waste and upholding the current recycling regulations. Assisting with the safe manoeuvring of vehicles/units around the site.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Manoeuvring vehicles / units around site
- Banksman duties
- Picking and packing duties
- Labouring
- Maintain a clean working area
- Waste management

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Previous experience in an industrial / manufacturing environment
- HGV Class 1 or 2 license
- FLT license (not essential)
- Ability to understand and follow basic written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work to deadlines
- High work ethic & team player
- Punctual & reliable
- Flexible approach to overtime
- Demonstrates good health and safety practices
- Physically fit as some lifting will be required
- Good understanding of Health and Safety.
