Dive into the role of an Asbestos Surveyor, navigating through a variety of infrastructures—from the arches of bridges to the depths of tunnels—to perform comprehensive asbestos surveys. This role includes conducting Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition surveys, ensuring adherence to industry standards like HSG 264 and GG105. You'll also conduct initial desktop reviews to identify potential asbestos materials and create in-depth survey reports leveraging the latest in mobile technology and data management in an office setting.

**Your Qualifications and Skills**:

- Essential: BOHS P402 or RSPH certification; additional asbestos-related qualifications beneficial but not mandatory.
- Proficient in standards HSG 264 and GG105.
- Experienced in conducting surveys across commercial and industrial settings.
- At least three years of conducting Reinspection’s, Management, and Refurbishment surveys according to UKAS standards.
- Skilled in utilizing asbestos surveying software and Microsoft Office for report writing.
- Able to interpret as - built and general arrangement drawings.
- Experience with infrastructure assets and familiar with relevant terminology is preferred but can be trained.
- Must hold a CSCS card.
- PTS and IPAF certifications are advantageous but not compulsory.
- Comfort in navigating challenging environments, including working at heights, in confined spaces, and water.
- Capable of working safely near active roadways and railway systems.
- Self-managed, with strong planning skills to ensure safe and efficient work practices.

**Responsibilities**
- Your day-to-day will involve tackling some physically demanding environments.
- You'll need to be adept at accessing confined spaces, scaling heights, and navigating water-adjacent areas—all while strictly observing safety protocols.
- This position is for those who have a keen eye for detail, unwavering commitment to precision, and the tenacity to face and solve complex challenges directly.
