**Summary**
Our client in an international data and analytics provider, working to uncover deeper information, serving unique insights that help the industries and markets driving global economies.
In this role you will be part of an ambitious and innovative multi-year project to enhance the user experience of a cross-asset investment management platform. You’ll want to build trusting and credible relationships with colleagues at all levels and have agenuine love for writing software.
**Role Description**:

- Core product development and re-engineering in HTML5/React.
- Work to improve aspects of the core product architecture.
- Design, develop and maintain HTML5-based solutions.
- Web development using OOP concepts, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, Node/npm.
- Agile Development environment.
- Code review, unit testing and integration testing.

**Professional Experience Required**:

- 5+ years’ professional experience in software development and front-end technologies building web-based GUIs.
- Must have professional experience of working as part of a team on product-focused software projects, including experience of complex software design, documentation, and implementation.
- Commercial experience and deep understanding in one or more of React / Angular / Vue frameworks.
- Experience of CI/CD pipelines.
- Software design fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design and performance analysis.
- Familiarity with stateless RESTful Architecture.
- Knowledge of some of the following would be advantageous: micro-frontend concepts, OpenFin, FDC3, AWS, Azure DevOps.

**Personal Requirements**:

- Good understanding of investment management across all asset types and geographies is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate with both business and technical people.
- A team player who is comfortable working at all levels of the business and with external clients.
- Excellent attention to detail, with ability to clearly communicate the nature of a software solution.

**This role is hybrid and mostly remote at this time but will require some time spent in Manchester office. The salary range is £60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience and capability.
