Design & Sales Consultant

We are one of the most respected names in the bathroom industry, boasting an impressive portfolio of stunning showrooms nationwide. We have a vacancy for a full time bathroom Design & Sales Consultant to work in our Nottingham showroom.
You should have previous experience in interiors design, a proven sales record within the industry, be self-motivated and have excellent attention to detail. Previous experience in the bathroom industry and be experienced in using CAD planning software, Virtual Worlds or similar would be advantageous.
The “Design & Sales Consultant” must be a creative, personable and proactive problem-solver individual, who is sales-orientated and driven to help achieve the showroom’s sales targets
The key responsibilities of a Design & Sales Consultant in our Nottingham showroom are:
- Ensure a high-standard showroom experience, from meeting and greeting potential clients to helping to design new showroom displays
- Understand clients’ needs as well as all products and technical skill involved in bathroom design
- Assist clients in selecting and coordinating design elements for their projects
- Create and present design proposals to clients
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients
- Develop and build sales, taking advantage of all opportunities that exist from visitors to the showroom or other direct enquiries
- Promote and provide the company design service by following the company’s sales procedure including arranging home visits, preparing designs, preparing quotations, presenting those designs and closing sales in a timely manner.
- Manage client accounts and maintain accurate records of sales and orders, using the company’s software
- Stay up-to-date with current market trends and design styles - Attend the company designers’ day, trade shows and industry events to expand product knowledge
- Be part of the team and assist with the development of more junior Sales & Design Consultants.
