Bus Cleaner

Role: Cleaning Operative

Location: Fareham, PO16 8TB

Rate: £11.59

Hours: Saturday to Tuesday. Rest Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. (2000 - 0230 with 30 minutes unpaid break - 24 hours per week)

Start date: ASAP

**The Role**:
Clean the coaches and buses to best quality by

**.** Sweeping the vehicle and remove all rubbish and debris from the floor, seats and luggage racks and driver’s cab
- Check vehicle for any lost property
- Wipe down all armrests, window sills and trays
- Clean windows using glass cleaner and a cloth
- Hoover any carpets (and seats if required)
- Buckle up all seat belts
- Mop all vinyl flooring
- Seat pads to be removed and hoovered out underneath
- All seats to be hoovered
- Overhead luggage racks to be wiped down
- Foot-rests to be wiped down
- Windows to be cleaned with hot water and a lambs wool and then bladed
- Coach toilet cleaning
- Complete cleaning checklist and display at front of vehicle

**Key responsibilities of a Bus Cleaning Operative**:

- To follow site checklists to ensure each site is cleaned to company / client expectations.
- To communicate any handover details with the site manager.
- Cleaning duties include wiping surfaces, cleaning glass, brushing / mopping floors.

**Experience required for a Bus Cleaning Operative**:

- Previous work experience as a cleaner.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organisational and time-management skills.
- Honest & Trustworthy.
- To clean vehicles to comply with our clients' standards and ensure that all records are maintained correctly.
- Carry out daily sweep and cleans with deep interior cleans occasionally.
- To fully understand and comply with all company and statutory relating to hours of work, health & safety, and working practices, abide by all company working policies and procedures.
