Apprentice Greenkeeper

**Vacancy description**

Duties will include:

- Setting the course up for the days play
- Mowing the grass
- Raking the bunkers
- Helping out with the building of new tee’s, ditches and bunkers
- Learning how to use machinery and putting into practice new skills
- Working collectively alongside a team of 7

- Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)

**Future prospects**
- Moving up to the highest levels within the sports turf industry.

**Training Provided**
- Full training to be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment.
- The applicant will be working towards and gain a Level 2 Golf Greenkeeping Apprenticeship.
- The learner will be allocated an industry specific training consultant who will provide both remote and on site visits throughout the apprenticeship.
- The apprentice will work towards an End Point Assessment (EPA) at the end of their apprenticeship.

Pay: From £18,000.00 per year
