Apprentice Instructor

**Duration: This is a temporary contact for 15 months**

**Hours: 37 hours per week**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone keen to join the outdoor learning and adventurous activity sector, in the form of an Apprentice Instructor at Stanley Head OEC.

Your day to day duties will include the following:

- Shadow and support instructors in their daily duties.
- Shadow and support other centre employees in their daily duties.
- Assist in ensuring the safety and general wellbeing of all clients and employees at the centre.
- Working with groups of children and adults in the outdoor environment.
- Day-to-day centre tasks such as maintaining equipment and keeping the centre tidy.
- Attend college as and when required, and complete work in own time to achieve the relevant qualification.
- Participate in a range of adventurous activities outside of work time in order to build a personal experience logbook.
