**Job Title**:Factory Labourer

**Contract Type**:Permanent

**Working Pattern: Day shift**: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm, Friday - 8:00 - 1:00pm, + Regular Overtime

**Rate of Pay**:Competitive hourly rate

**The Role**

Due to continued growth and expansion, we have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Factory Labourer to join our team in Longbenton.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Keep Factory/Shopfloor area tidy and clean
- Cleaning factory (mopping floors, cleaning swarf, emptying machines)
- Check/Clean machines and forklift
- Prepare deliveries (packing and wrapping)
- Load/unload Transport and check/sign delivery/despatch paperwork
- Cleaning Delivery vans
- Ensure a safe and efficient work environment
- To carry out activities additional to the above as identified by the supervisor.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**

**Essential**
- 2+ years previous experience working in a busy factory
- Keen on practical, hands-on work
- Full driving license (clean)
- Can do attitude
- Reliable
- Be able to lift and load
- Be able to work unsupervised
