Trainee Estimator

**TRAINEE ESTIMATOR**

**Main purpose of job role**:
As a Trainee Estimator, you will be responsible for assisting with the analysis of ductwork project specifications and assist with the preparation of cost estimates for ventilation projects.

**KEY TASKS**

Reporting to the Estimating Manager this role will involve:

- read CAD/REVIT generated drawings and consultant specifications
- assist Estimators with carrying out material take-offs
- obtain supplier quotations
- learn how to use estimating software

**Essential requirements for the role**:

- A willingness to learn and grow within the role
- Good computer literacy skills - Excel and Outlook
- Strong numerical ability with attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

**Desirable requirements**:

- While not essential, a driving licence would be desirable

Pay: Up to £24,000.00 per year
