We are a family run business that has 2 nurseries & preschools in the Bristol area, one in Kingswood and one in Keynsham taking children from 6 months to school age.

**The Role**

Are you based in Keynsham or the surrounding area, looking for a role close to home or this area on a temporary basis? We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly people to join Orchard Lea Nursery in Keynsham(BS31) to provide support over the summer period on a fixed term contract. Days and hours will be flexible and discussed on a weekly basis dependant on the needs of the nursery.

A qualification in Early Years or working with chlildren would be desirable however, not essential. We are looking for someone who is interested in working with and supporting children within early years.

A valid Paediatric First Aid Certificate is desirable however, there will be opportunity to obtain this through the Nursery.

The nursery is supported by a strong administration team including an EYP, SENCO,HR coordinator, and Forest School Lead. As part of the team you will be supported by your Room Lead, Deputy and Nursery Manager. Orchard Lea operates a buddy system.

**Hours**

We are looking for someone who can provide support across the summer months from July until early September 2024, this is a fixed term contract position and will end at this time. Flexibility with days and hours to be discussed in line with the needs of the nursery however, will be confiremd at least a week in advance. Hours worked will typically be between 8am and 5.30pm.

The role has the following responsibilities:

- Good organisation and communication skills
- Always ensure the safety and wellbeing of children
- Build relationships with parents, carers and colleagues
- Supporting children over the lunch time period
