We are looking to recruit officers to join our resilience team to work at one of our iconic food and drinks market. This market is taking over London by storm with their environmentally friendly and sustainable products while helping small business and local community.

The venue is one of four London venues based in Elephant & Castle. Housed in a formerly abandoned paper factory, the venue is one of Londons largest undercover outdoor areas showcasing a vibrant space where everyone, of all ages, can come together and enjoy authentic food together.

Two large food halls, including two secret gardens, cinema area, music theatre, on-site brewery and community events and projects. This is a licensed venue with a zero single-use plastic policy, dog friendly, age restriction from 10pm onwards.

We require officers who are confident, vigilant, and pro-active in conflict management situation which may arise. Excellent customer service skills are always required as you will be the face of the venue. You will be working closely in a team, ready to defuse any situation.

**Pay Rate**:
£11.95 an hour PAYE

**Shift Hours/Venue Hours: Various - Typically Afternoon / Evening**

**Minimum Requirements**
- 2 years experience working within Doorman / licenses venues within a team and conflict management experience.
- A valid Door Supervisor License.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to keep a calm and collective presence dealing with all situations.
- Be responsive to the clients needs and work in partnership with the client and other suppliers to support the delivery of the services.
- Must be able to work under pressure, be able to make decisive decisions during incidents and difficult situations.
- Strong knowledge of site processes and procedures
- Aptitude for learning and development
- Professional & Personable Immaculate Presentation
- Right to Work in the UK
- 5-Year employment history

**Preferred Requirements**
- Proven experience in customer service and security.
- ACT
- Conflict management training
- Emergency First Aid

**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Be the first point of contact for the Venue for customers.
- Monitor and control building entrances and exits.
- Work within a team to ensure that venues security needs are met in a professional and efficient manner.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all visitors, staff and the public under your care are in accordance with SIA licensing standards.
- Patrols of the venue in alignment with the clients request.
- Observing the behavior of visitors in the venue and maintaining the venues code of conduct and practices and to ensure that licensing laws are upheld to prevent any criminal offences occurring.
- Intervene with any criminal offences in a appropriate and safe manor to any visitors who create potential danger of risk to themselves or others.
- Assist any customers / clients with any requests needed.
- Responding to accidents / emergency situations / evacuations.
- Defuse any disturbances and escort them off the property if necessary.
- Maintain the security logbook and incident reports.
- Record keeping of any issues and receipt of department keys, items loaned out to members of staff.
- May be required to monitor security feeds and conduct daily / physical hazard inspections.
- Conduct investigations, gather evidence, bag searched following a report of misconduct, discrepancies, or violations immediately.
- Assist staff investigating and report of any allegations of theft, criminal damage, and other incidents to supervisor at designated site and to your operations manager.
- Complete required shift reports and maintain confidentiality of all loss prevention documents.
