Children's Support Worker

We are seeking a highly enthusiastic and passionate Children's Support Worker to join a successful Special Needs School in Swanley. The school caters for students between the ages of 3 and 19 years old with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe LearningDifficulties (SLD), Autism, Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and/or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supporting students with their daily needs, including personal care, feeding and hygiene
- Assisting with the educational development of students
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff to provide a safe and nurturing environment for students
- Assisting with communication needs and promoting positive behaviour
- Supporting students with physical and emotional needs

Qualifications & Skills:

- Experience working with children with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different situations
- Physically fit and able to assist with lifting, moving and positioning of students
