**About Us**
- Highfield Park is an 82 acre park on the edge of St Albans.
- Set up 25 years ago following the closure of two hospitals.
- The park has a mix of woodland, parkland, sports pitches, orchard and allotments.
- The park is managed by a charity Highfield Park Trust.

**Role**
- The role is part time 22.5 hours a week
- We are looking for someone who is personable and enjoys engaging with the general public
- You will possess good levels of numeracy and literacy.
- You must be flexible in your approach to work and have a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- You will be able work autonomously and set your own priorities and enjoy having responsibility and variation in your work.
- You will be willing to muck in as required in furthering the aims of the Trust.

**Responsibilities**
- Becomes Company Secretary and Data Protection Officer.
- Manage, on a day-to-day basis, the financial affairs of the Trust, maintaining accurate accounts, to ensure that the annual reports, accounts, and returns are completed accurately and on time.
- Prepare financial reports for all Board and committee meetings.
- Monitor incurred expenditure and contracts with all park tenants and users.
- Management of bookings of Trust facilities including allotment tenants.
- Shared management of website based fundraising activities.

**Requirements**:

- To have a good understanding of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook (essential).
- Experience of using accountancy software (essential).
- Experience of Sage, WordPress and MailChimp (desirable).
- Interest in environmental and community issues (desirable).

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week

**Salary**: Up to £18,243.00 per year
