Overview:
Our Gallagher Retail Commercial Broking Division are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Claims Handler to join our Property Claims team to look after our clients in the Wales region. Our dynamic and collaborative team is based in Llantrisant.

Working directly with our clients and suppliers, you will be responsible for delivering a high quality, professional advice service to your clients concerning any claims issues from beginning through conclusion. Servicing our clients with utmost care and making a difference is our focus and goal.

- This is a permanent role
- We are based in Llantrisant with parking nearby
- Our working hours are Monday to Friday 9-5
- Open to flexible working arrangements
- Salary is £25,000 to £30,000 dependent on previous experience
- We have an ongoing structured training programme and a dedicated training team to ensure you have all the support you need to be successful

**A bit about the job**:
In this role you will be helping customers process their insurance claim through the business. You will also have consistent communication with not only the customers but Loss Adjusters, Insurers and Third Parties. You will be the point of contact for the customer to discuss any update of their claim and all relevant events of the claims journey. You will need to balance multiple tasks at the same time, utilise a range of systems and will work in a dynamic, friendly, agile team.

**Skills and experience we’re looking for**:

- Minimum of 3 years working within a Insurance Claims environment
- Worked in teams servicing both clients and colleagues; with excellent customer service skills and the ability to support the customer through the entire claims process
- Evidence your strong rapport-building skills and excellent communication skills.
- Risk aware with strong planning and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and dedicated customer service focus
- Desirable Cert CII qualified, having worked to targets within a regulated, measurable framework and achieved SLA’s
- Eligible to work in the UK
