Workshop Supervisor

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am-5pm and 8:30am
- 4pm on Friday’s

We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Supervisor to join our growing team. We are looking for a Workshop Supervisor who has a hands-on approach to all tasks with the ability to fault-find and problem solve in a fast-paced reactive environment.

This will be the perfect role for someone with supervisory experience and knowledge of manufacturing.

Roles and responsibilities:

- Day to day running of the workshop and staff ensuring productivity through excellent management and leadership skills
- Monitoring stock levels of materials, maintaining accurate stock records, and updating the stock control system
- Liaising with the management to ensure all relevant quality issues are addressed
- When the occasion demands, contribute to the production function by setting and adjusting machines / jigs, welding or any other operations necessary for the smooth running of the department
- Maintaining a safe working environment
- Have good communication and management skills
- Have a working knowledge of all aspects of workshop equipment, tools, machines and safety equipment
- Understand the importance of health and safety

Experience in the Motability / Automotive industry would be advantageous, however full training will be provided
