Passenger Assistants Required

Ideal Locations: Blackwood, Ystrad Mynach, Pengam or Nelson

The main duties of the position will be to supervise children and students with special educational needs on their journey to and from their place of study. This will be in one of our private hire vehicles and can be either a car or a minibus (depending on the contracted route).

We are looking for likeminded individuals to join our ever growing team, and help us, help others.

Having experience of working with children or adults with additional and/or complex needs would be advantageous but not mandatory.

You will need to be sensitive to individual needs, providing reassurance and
assistance when required. You will also communicate with parents and organisational staff to ensure the passengers have a safe journey whilst using our services.

Depending on authority body from which the route stems, this may effect if any further training is required. If any further training is required, we will be able to arrange this for you e.g. North Somerset Safeguarding Course (1 day).

If you already hold an enhanced DBS certificate and it is on the update service, this would be highly advantageous.
