**Junior CNC Engineer/ Machine Operator**

SNB are currently looking for another Junior CNC Engineer to join their Team in Bathgate due to their continued growth.

SNB design and manufacture bespoke conveyor systems for the food manufacturing industry. We have 3 manufacturing facilities including one in Bathgate. The successful applicant will learn all aspects of CNC programming, setting, and machine component design.

You will be developing your knowledge and skills in CNC machinery and AutoCAD.

The ideal applicant will have some basic skills and/ or knowledge in manufacturing and design. Previous machine operating experience is preferred but not essential.

**Main Job Purpose**:
To continuously learn and develop skills in CNC Machining and AutoDesk with the aim of producing machine components.

As a Junior CNC Engineer you will work closely alongside SNB’s Design Engineer.

**Disciplines**:
Mechanical Manufacturing

AutoCad Toolpath Programming

Manual Lathe, CNC Milling, CNC Router, CNC Press Brake, Fibre Laser and co2 Laser

**Skills Required**:
Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment;
Skills and/ or knowledge of mechanical engineering;
Excellent IT skills;
High attention to detail;
Ability to work alone or as part of a Team.

**SNB Working Hours;** 8-17:00 Monday to Friday.

**Holidays;** 20 Days + Bank Holidays. Additional Holidays are accrued upon completion of 3 years’ service.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with previous mechanical engineering/ machine operating experience who wishes to progress into a more advanced CNC Engineering role.

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
