My client has an exciting opportunity for an Events & Lettings Manager to join them in a newly created role Within the role you’ll be responsible for the long-term development of commercial events and lettings.

Your new role as an Events & Lettings Manager
- Developing and implementing long term business plans, identifying new commercial streams, and reporting to senior colleagues regarding current activities, plans and budgets
- Overseeing day to day operations, establishing and maintaining commercial relationships (including contract negotiations)
- Working with the marketing team to ensure effective promotion and marketing of activities, co-ordinating activities with the wider organisation and ensuring due process is followed for all third-party hires and lets
- Managing permanent and temporary staff, working with HR to ensure the recruitment of suitable staff and that all pre-employment checks are carried out
- Planning and delivering all events within budget constraints

Essential Experience & Traits
- Management and budgeting experience in a similar role, including sound financial management
- Highly organised with strong planning and administration skills
- Able to cope under pressure with a range of strategic and operational matters while working to deadlines
- Able to demonstrate effective leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and customer service skills
- Able to work outside of normal working hours depending on the requirements of the role
