Trainee Fabricator

An opportunity has become available for a trainee Fabricator to join our growing team at Pavilion Systems, a leading conservatory roof system manufacturer.

As part of your role you will be provided training for a variety of disciplines across the shop floor and will be semi-autonomous in your work, giving you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills to become a valuable member of the team.

To be successful in this role you must display strong attention to detail and quality, as well as excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. You must also be able to work well with people and demonstrate dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules.

**Once on the job training has been completed your duties will include**:

- Reading and understanding working drawings as part of the fabrication process
- Drilling, positioning and assembly of aluminium, timber, and PVC components
- Dry build assembly of roofs within production area, checking of sizes and measurements to drawing
- Safe use of various types of hand air tools, saws etc.
- Ensure smooth and efficient throughput
- Daily cleaning and light maintenance of working area
- Carry out periodic audit and quality control checks
- Liaising with other internal departments
- Adhere to health and safety procedures within the working environment

Normal working hours are Monday to Thursday 7.00 am - 4.00 pm and Friday 7.00 am until 3.00 pm. From time to time you will be required to be flexible with your working hours to accommodate production and delivery demands.
