**Marketing and Communications Manager**

**Salary**: £35,000 - £40,000

Term: 18 months FTC

Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

We are delighted to be working alongside this exciting client situated on the Wirral, who are looking for dynamic and experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to lead a team of Creative Marketing Executives for an 18 month period. The Marketing andCommunications Manager will be responsible for driving the marketing strategy for all B2B products, whilst encouraging the talent within the team to work to their full potential.

The Marketing and Communications Manager is the central role within the business, and you will need to be able to communicate well with different departments. You will also be driven to add value, solve problems and contribute to the vision of the business.

**Objectives**
- Execute the remainder of the 2023 marketing plan, ensuring the plan is delivered tactically on time and to budget.
- Create the 2024 marketing strategy inline with the company’s vision and objectives.
- Coordinate the team to ensure the execution of marketing plans across all brands.
- Define and lead multi-channel campaigns for optimum results across a range of media.
- Lead projects across New Product Development, Brand, Customer Acquisition and Retention, Customer Journey, Events, and Incentives.
- Manage of third-party relationships such as campaign partners, trade press, creative and digital agencies.
- Follow best and emerging marketing practices - implementing into the team where appropriate.
- Communicate well to manage stakeholder engagement and expectations at all levels.
- Be team-focussed - intent on supporting the team with managing workloads and priorities via clear communication of expectations and sharing knowledge/goals.
- Foster a collaborative and creative environment, encouraging team members to share ideas and be innovate.
- Able to provide clear, reasoned, and timely feedback to the team.
- Ensure constant innovation in marketing messages, marketing/communication channels and creative work.
- Identify areas of opportunity & growth.
- Ensure all marketing and communications are of a consistently high standard and that the whole team have a shared responsibility for ensuring their work is of a consistently high standard too.
- Maintain brand integrity and ensure all brand guidelines/tone of voice guidelines are adhered to across all channels.
- Lead customer research projects as required.
- Ensure all administrative tasks are in order so the team can work efficiently, and success/output can be gauged - including but not limited to, budget management, cost tracking, profit and loss.

**General**
- A proven B2B marketer, with a strong track record in delivering marketing and communications plans.
- A minimum of five years in a senior role with some line management experience.
- Understand what it means to be market-oriented and how this translates into marketing and communications.
- Solid understanding of marketing principles.
- Competent in giving creative direction across all aspects of content including copywriting and design.
- An excellent and persuasive communicator confident in pitching to stakeholders at all levels.
- The ability to manage multiple brands/campaigns simultaneously.
- Highly organised and the ability to manage a diverse workload and team.
- Well versed in all MS Office programmes & CMS.
- Excellent written and verbal English, with a talent for making complex messages simple.
- A passion for self and people-development.
- Commercially minded, analytical thinker.
