FTS - Forensic Testing Service is a specialist provider of drug and alchohol testing and expert reporting. We work predominantly in the Child Protection and Family Court arena.

The availbale role is newly created (initially on a 6 month basis) to manage our team of remote sample collectors. We have a team of Forensic Investigation Officers who collect samples from our clients on a nationwide basis from our mobile collection units. Samples collected include hair, nails, urine and blood and all collections are carried out under strict Chain of Evidence processes.

The Collections Supervisor will be required to mange the team by accompanying them on occasional collections as well as having regular face to face catch up's. The role involves suppoting the team, identifying training needs and upholding our strict quality processes. You will also be required to support with post collection queries by analysing bodycam footage and listenting to telephone calls. You will carry out day to management of the team, including payroll, absence management, performance management etc. You will also be expected to undergo training to collect samples yourself to provide support to the team as needed. You will work with your team to ensure sample collection targets are met and that the client experience is contiually improving.

The majority of the team are currently based around the M62 corridor and our head office is in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. The successful applicant will be expected to travel to client appointments, as well as spending one day per week in the office.
- Extensive people management (ideally of a field based team).
- Experience of working in a medical profession (ideally phlebotomy trained)
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Extremely flexible in terms of working hours and locations - most travel will be North of England based (but not exclusively).
- Exceptional attention to detail
- IT literate and confident at using different systems
- You must be confident in driving a LWB vehicle as you will be provided with a mobile collection unit to enable you to travel to meet the team and carry out your own collections as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
