Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with knowledge of the freight forwarding solutions sector, looking to work for an ambitious company that you will be able to make a real impact on the progression and growth off?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity for a business development manager to come in and help grow the business by attracting new clients all over the UK, so this role would really suit someone with the determination and ambition to drive the company forward.The high standards of service and delivery has made this company one of the leading road haulage companies operating within the UK & Ireland.

In this role the successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining the existing customer base, actively sourcing new business and helping to develop other business activities within the company with the objective ofincreasing revenue and improving profitability.

This role would suit someone with sales experience in the freight forwarding and/or customs clearance industry, with the ability to cultivate long term business relationships.

**The Role**:

- Develop and grow existing customer accounts by ensuring all business opportunities have been explored.
- Making regular contact with existing customers, taking ownership and developing the business relationship while ensuring they are receiving the high level of service expected.

**The Person**:

- Proven successful business development and/or account management experience in the UK
- Highly motivated, personable, professional and able to cultivate long-term business relationships
