**Shipping Planner**

Office based role

Location: Hull

Hours: Monthly alternating schedule

1: Wednesday to Saturday: 4 x 10hrs 06-1630hrs
2: Sunday to Wednesday: 4 x 10hrs 06-1630hrs
3: Monday to Friday: 5 x 8hrs 14-2230hrs

Grafton Recruitment are working on behalf of a leading company who are looking for a Shipping Planner to work in their Hull office.

**The role**:

- Update software package correctly with this info
- Book units on the various quays
- Use the most economical shipping route, in consultation with planning and customer service
- Ensuring a good flow of the empty repositioning of containers so that each port is always provided with the requested types of empty equipment.
- Administrative processing
- Keep an overview of the fleet via tracking & tracing

**You will need**:

- Higher secondary education or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of MS office
- Knowledge of IMDG legislation, customs documents
- Team player, communicative
- Planning and organising, setting priorities
- Communicative
- Experience in the transport sector or geographical knowledge of Europe is a plus
