We’re looking for an Innovation Capabilities Lead. It’s a new role that will play a key part in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship function.

**What will you do?**

In the role you’ll be responsible for **building innovation capability** within the Innovation and Entrepreneurship function as well as across the Society.

You’ll design and implement the relevant innovative systems, processes and skills within the function and across the society as a whole. You’ll ensure the efficient and effective deployment of those new practices.

You’ll be responsible for designing and leading the development programme for building innovation capability across the entire organisation.

Leading the implementation of the Design Thinking approach across the function will be a key part of this role.
- About you**Who are we looking for?**

Someone with experience of implementing new systems and processes and for championing wide reaching organisational change, who is passionate about innovation as a core business capability. Someone who can make priority decisions, pro-actively manage changes through to implementation, engaging effectively with multiple stakeholders whilst maintaining focus on key outcomes.

The ability to engage and energise multiple stakeholders and delivery teams is essential, as is the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner to executive and senior management.

You’ll have some experience of working within a design and delivery role across product, service, process or strategy/strategic innovation function or as a business architect/training and development role. You will have experience of designing new processes and practices and understand what capability is required for us to become more innovative as an organisation.

Your understanding of change methodologies and practices is key, as is your experience of the financial services industry. And as with any role at the Coventry, you’ll have a strong focus on delivering good customer outcomes.

Finally, but equally important, you need to be a brilliant line manager - role modelling first-class delivery - and a valued team member.
