Meridian Health are currently looking for a number of **Hospital Houseeepers and Cleaners **to work in a number of hospitals across **South Oxfordshire, particularly in Abingdon (OX14 1AG), Littlemore (OX4 4XN), Wallingford (OX10 9DU) and Didcot OX11 0AG).**
There is full time and some part time shifts available depending on the location and the positions are temporary ongoing roles working 35-40 hours a week in shifts covering hours between 7AM AND 7PM. Available shifts are as follows; 07:00-15:00 and 11:00-19.00over any 5 days in a week including every other weekend.
Hourly rates start at £11 per hour with worthwhile rate enhancements for weekends.
The aim of the role is to undertake services such as cleaning, keeping supplies stocked and deliver equipment such as oxygen and linen across various wards of the hospital.
The role requires you to:

- Be physically fit for moving, lifting, and cleaning
- Clean and maintain all hospital areas to a level that meets the National Cleanliness Standards
- Work as part of a team with ward managers and nurses, as well as domestic services
- Talk to and reassure patients
- Offer a friendly and caring service
- Prepare and serve meals
