- 12-hour shifts require working both days and nights

**About the department and the role**:
Our yarn texturising department ‘Xtex’ is the starting point in the production of some of Heathcoat Fabrics’ highest-quality technical fabrics. Our **Xtex Operatives** play a key and active role in improving yarn performance and processibility.

Key responsibilities for this role include operating machinery to a production plan, ensuring the smooth running of the Texturising and Twisting machines, loading bulk packs of yarn, recording production weights and conducting yarn inspection for quality.

**Skills, knowledge and experience required**:

- A logical approach
- Ability to work well in a team and on your own initiative
- An understanding of health and safety issues in a production environment
- Good attention to detail
- Good dexterity
- Effective communication skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
