The AO Arena is undergoing a £50MIL redevelopment, with the most exciting new hospitality spaces and packages to suit all businesses in the North West. Giving our clients the ultimate event experience, with flexibility to meet all needs the spaces have been carefully designed to meet the customers business objectives and to become a destination like no other in Manchester City Centre.

THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Head of Hospitality, and as an integral part of the team the role is to provide administrative support to the department for both sales and operations contributing to a world class experience for all of our customers.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITES:
Providing administrative support to the Department for the administration for any new products added to the portfolio.

Assisting the Hospitality Sales Team on the sale of ad hoc packages including preparing the hospitality sheets, letters, invoicing, tickets, and updating report sheets meeting their requirements, answering their queries and ensuring that all bookings and sales are delivered to the highest standards.

Manage the data capture of all inbound enquiries and manage data spreadsheets ready for when we launch a CRM system.

Support all teams with new technology coming in to the department ensuring a smooth transition for all our customers.

Manage the printing of VIP lanyards and manage the distribution of these on an event night.

Liaise regularly with all internal departments such as Food & Beverage, Finance, Events and Box Office and FM to ensure that they are informed of all corporate hospitality requirements for every event

Assist the Head of Hospitality with new ventures including networking events, newsletters, invitations and delivery of these events.

Pre and post show suite checks and placement of programmes for ad hoc packages making sure any maintenance issues have been reported and followed up between shows ensuring our guests have the best possible experience.

Take a lead on financial reporting supporting the Head of Hospitality

Required to work 2 shows in 7

THE PERSON:

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Ability to create and manage excellent customer relationships
- Ability to work with some direction and to use own initiative
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to problem solve where necessary.
- Proficient in the use of Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Financial acumen
