You will work as an expert in Data Analytics providing business critical insight to the charity's fundraising teams, and non-fundraising teams, to enable significant growth in voluntary net income and allowing colleagues to inform decision making and developtheir own analysis skills.
The Role
To support the Selections Manager in delivering charity-wide data selections to optimise performance.
To support focus on data quality, reporting on issues to ensure data is fit for purpose. To undertake User Acceptance Testing for remedial fixes.
To meet with key stakeholders to confirm briefing requirements before production of selections to ensure understanding of brief is accurate.
To produce documentation to support data selections to provide a history of who has been contacted and to aid future selections.
To deliver data selections to SLAs.
To export and import exceptional files (such as suppression files, and end of campaign files) to ensure data compliance and integrity.
To contribute to the wider Fundraising team, taking a proactive approach to working in a high-performing and collaborative environment.
To seek out innovative and agile approaches to working, adopting lean processes and using supporter data to drive performance and supporter experience.
To work collaboratively across the Directorate to ensure programmes are integrated and that opportunities to maximise lifetime value of supporters are leveraged to achieve wider fundraising impact goals.
Essential
Ability to write in SQL confidently.
Desirable
Knowledge/understanding of fundraising activities.
Working knowledge of Data Protection law and GDPR.
Good interpersonal, communication skills able to convey issues related to data in the database and the data warehouse.
Confident in use of Team Work or similar traffic management tool.
Understanding of data cleansing, able to support process in collaboration with internal stakeholders and specialist data hygiene agencies.
Experience of working with a relationship database and data warehouse to deliver campaign selections.
Experience of delivering multiple selections for a range of projects each month.
